Received undergraduate degree from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, and my Master’s degree from Denver Seminary in Colorado.
Served on the board of directors for the American Horticultural Therapy Association for many years and has an affinity for gardening, capitalizing on plant metaphors in therapy sessions, and looking to help his clients grow in the midst of adversity.
Raised in the church, and being a Christian for many years has allowed Jonathan the opportunity to understand the life-altering growth and change that comes from compassionate, genuine, and heart-felt counseling encounters.
With over 16 years of clinical counseling experience, Jonathan is well-equipped to help his clients during their darkest hour.

Jonathan brings an approach that allows you to speak openly and honestly about what is bothering you in your time, and in your own way.
Direct and compassionate approach
I understand Biblical compassion, and seek to weave this into my approach while working with clients. Compassion is not merely telling a person what he or she wants to hear, but telling them what they need to hear, and doing so in love. Change is challenging and uncomfortable at times, but produces a good harvest in time.
